"Before the Flood" - AI Score

"Before the Flood" had an Audience Appreciation Index (AI) score of 83.  The AI scores so far this series are:

"The Magician's Apprentice" - 84
"The Witch's Familiar" - 83
"Under the Lake" - 84
"Before the Flood" - 83

The Audience Appreciation Index (AI) is a score out of 100 which is used as an indicator of the public’s appreciation for a show. Over 90 is considered exceptional, 85 or over is excellent, 60 or less is poor, and less than 55 is very poor.

There's a weird kind of consistency developing so far this series - with part one of a story scoring a point higher than part two.

Videos - More Doctor Extra for "Before the Flood"

Following yesterday's bumper crop of "Doctor Who Extra" videos (you can watch them here), the BBC have, today, released four more:

"Before the Flood" - Overnight Ratings

The overnight viewing figures show that 4.38 million tuned in for "Before the Flood" - that's a 21.5% audience share and quite an increase from last week's 3.71 million.

Doctor Who was still scheduled opposite an England Rugby World Cup match - but this time a meaningless one as England had already been eliminated from the competition.  England v Uruguay had average overnight figures of 3.51 million.

The consolidated figures will be released next week.
