"The Zygon Inversion" - Consolidated Ratings

"The Zygon Inversion" has a consolidated 7 day rating of 6.03 million (not including repeats) - an increase of 1.90 million from the initial overnight figure of 4.13 million.

This puts the episode ninth for the week on BBC1.  The consolidated ratings so far this series are:

"The Magician's Apprentice" - 6.54 million
"The Witch's Familiar" - 5.71 million
"Under the Lake" - 5.63 million
"Before the Flood" - 6.05 million
"The Girl Who Died" - 6.56 million
"The Woman Who Lived" - 6.11 million
"The Zygon Invasion" - 5.76 million
"The Zygon Inversion" - 6.03 million

This figure includes those who recorded and watched the show within one week of transmission - plus iplayer views through televisions.  It does not include pc/laptop, tablets or smartphones - initial figures for which will be released by BARB in their Online TV Player Report on Wednesday.

"The Zygon Inversion" - AI Score

"The Zygon Inversion" had an Audience Appreciation Index (AI) score of 84.  The AI scores so far this series are:

"The Magician's Apprentice" - 84
"The Witch's Familiar" - 83
"Under the Lake" - 84
"Before the Flood" - 83
"The Girl Who Died" - 82
"The Woman Who Lived" - 81
"The Zygon Invasion" - 82
"The Zygon Inversion" - 84

This does mark the first time in Series 9 where the 2nd episode of a 2-parter outscored the first episode.

"The Zygon Inversion" - Overnight Ratings

The overnight viewing figures show that 4.13 million (19.9% share) tuned in for "The Zygon Inversion" - that's an increase from last week's 3.87 million.

"Strictly Come Dancing" was, of course, top again with 9.17 million.

The consolidated figures will be released next week.
