Series 10 - New Teaser and "The Pilot" Synopsis

The BBC have released the synopsis for the first episode of Series 10 - "The Pilot" - together with a short Series 10 teaser video.  "The Pilot" will air on BBC1 on Saturday 15 April 2017.

The Pilot. Two worlds collide when the Doctor meets Bill. 

A chance encounter with a girl with a star in her eye leads to a terrifying chase across time and space. Bill’s mind is opened to a Universe that is bigger and more exciting than she could possibly have imagined - but who is the Doctor, and what is his secret mission with Nardole on Earth? 

The Doctor is played by Peter Capaldi, Bill by Pearl Mackie and Nardole by Matt Lucas.

Has the mystery of #thefourth been solved?

Remember this little teaser video from the BBC that was uploaded on 4 July 2013?  This one right here:



Well, it's now been followed by a second teaser video which gives more of hint as to what we might expect:



Okay, so it says "Terror of the Zygons" - which is due to be released on dvd on 30 September 2013.  But - the case is slimmer than usual - and the cover art is completely different to previous releases.

I'm wondering, therefore, if there might just be some kind of epic 4th Doctor dvd boxset on the way - one that contains his entire era of stories.  Now - wouldn't THAT be something?
