Tales of Mystery and Terror with Tom Baker and Friends

The Stables Theatre in Hastings is the setting for what is termed "An evening of horror stories and splendid tales including musical offerings courtesy of Tom Baker and friends". All proceeds from the event will go to St Michael's Hospice. The event takes place at 7.30pm on Friday 12 October 2012. Tickets are priced £25 and can be purchased online or by phoning 01424 423221. The press release reads:

Brave souls and curious intelligentsia are cordially invited to an evening in the presence of acting legend Tom Baker. Joining him will be fellow actor and raconteur Paul Darrow, as well as international magician Richard Bellars. This event will take place at The Stables Theatre in Hastings.

Musical offerings will be by Renaissance Theatre, who recently staged Into the Woods to great acclaim. The second half of the evening’s entertainment will feature a Q & A session with Tom Baker, most widely known for his portrayal of Doctor Who. To many, he is the ultimate Doctor.

As well as 51 episodes as Avon in Blake’s 7, Paul Darrow has appeared in over 200 television programmes and has many film, theatre and radio credits to his name.

Magician Richard Bellars was recently asked to entertain Jonathan Ross on ITV’s Penn and Teller show.

Grateful thanks go to Fastprint and Design in St Leonards and the Imaginarium in Hastings Old Town for their help with this production.
