The BBC Doctor Who Twitter feed announced this evening that Matt Smith would be starting the Olympic Torch relay in Cardiff on Saturday. The schedule at the moment states a 6.29am start but we will update with details as soon as we know more.
Matt commented: “To carry the Torch is an honour, one I thought I'd never get, I'm very excited!”
