In the interview below, Matt talks about his experiences filming "Lost River", the improvisation on set, Cannes and more. The interview took place during the 2014 Cannes Film Festival - and has only just surfaced online courtesy of Kinowetter:

"How to Catch a Monster" - Title Change ("Lost River") and Cannes Screening
Ryan Gosling's long-awaited directorial debut, "How to Catch a Monster" starring Matt Smith, has had a recent title change. The film is now called "Lost River" and it is under this new title that it has been entered in the Un Certain Regard section at Cannes Film Festival.
The Un Certain Regard prize was introduced in 1998 to recognise young talent and encourage innovative and daring works. The section usually presents "original and different" works which seek international recognition.
The Cannes Film Festival runs from 14-25 May 2014. There is no word yet on whether Matt Smith will be attending the festival.
