The overnight UK viewing figures show that "Twice Upon A Time" had an audience of 5.66 million (fifth most watched for the day) giving it a 29.1% share of the audience. As a comparison, last year's Christmas episode, "The Return of Doctor Mysterio", had 5.68 million, a 27.1% share in the overnights and was the eighth most watched programme.
The Christmas Day overnight top 10 is as follows:
Mrs Brown's Boys - 6.8 million
Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special - 6.5 million
Call the Midwife - 6.3 million
EastEnders - 6.3 million
Doctor Who - 5.7 million
The Queen - 5.3 million (BBC only)
Coronation Street - 5.1 million
BBC News - 4.2 million
The Highway Rat - 4.0 million
Emmerdale - 3.7 million
The consolidated viewing figures will be released next week.
