Was there really ever any doubt? Alex Kingston vanquished Dame Maggie Smith in the Anglo Fan Favourites vote for the title of "Woman of 2013" by a 77 percent to 23 percent score. Anglophenia called it the "most lopsided victory we've ever witnessed".
Very well deserved - and nicely done, Kinglets - The Kingston defeated such luminaries as Karen Gillan, J K Rowling and Helena Bonham-Carter on her way to the title.
