The TV Choice Awards 2013 were presented tonight and "Doctor Who" was represented in 3 categories: Best Drama Series, Best Actor and Best Actress.
First up, "Doctor Who" faced off against "Call the Midwife", "Downton Abbey" and "Waterloo Road"...and walked off the winner of the category. Matt Smith sent a special video message as he's currently filming in Wales.
In the Best Actress category, Jenna Coleman was up against Olivia Colman, Miranda Hart and Sheridan Smith. Miranda Hart won the award.
The Best Actor category in which Matt Smith was up against David Tennant, Brendan Coyle and Jeremy Piven was, obviously, won by David Tennant.
"Doctor Who" also picked up the "Outstanding Contribution to TV" award so, all-in-all, a very good night.
Congratulations to the team for the very well deserved Best Drama award.
