BBC iplayer figures explode for "Doctor Who"

The BBC have released the iplayer figures for September - and "Doctor Who" has taken the top four slots by quite a margin.  The top place goes to "Asylum of the Daleks" with 2.2million views - this episode was available for the majority of September.  Obviously, the next three episodes were available for fewer days but "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship" had 1.8million requests, "A Town Called Mercy" had 1.4million and "The Power of Three" had 1.3million.

Interestingly, "The Angels Take Manhattan" which was only available for twenty eight hours in September, managed a fantastic 0.92million - this episode is available on iplayer until Friday 12 October 2012 so it's going to be intriguing to see how many requests this episode gets once the October figures are released.

It's possible that "The Power of Three" at least and "A Town Called Mercy" may well get more requests during October - as I don't know when these episodes were available until.

These figures have been added to the Season 7 Viewing Chart which you can access here:
