At the TV Choice Awards tonight, "Doctor Who" beat "Merlin", "Glee" and "Waterloo Road" to grab the Best Family Drama Award. Steven Moffat stated that the Doctor "is busy saving the world and can't be here tonight" but he'll be taking the award back to Cardiff.
Benedict Cumberbatch beat Matt Smith, Martin Clunes and Colin Morgan to the Best Actor Award and Miranda Hart beat Karen Gillan, Jaye Jacobs and Freya Mavor to Best Actress.
