"Time Heist" - Consolidated Viewing Figures
The consolidated figures for "Time Heist" have been released and, once again, reveal a huge timeshift audience of over 2.06million - increasing the overnight figure from 4.93million to 6.99million.
More than a quarter of the audience for "Doctor Who" now seem to watch via timeshifting - so it's rather frustrating that even the consolidated ratings (by not including computer and tablet viewings) don't give the full picture.
Please note that this figure includes UK viewers who watched the episode in the first 7 days after transmission - it does not include those who watched it on iplayer via computers or tablets.
"The Caretaker" - Overnight Viewing Figures
Well, the later timeslot didn't have much effect on the overnights which held steady for "The Caretaker" at 4.89million. In comparison, "Time Heist" achieved 4.93million and "Listen" managed 4.8million.
I would expect the consolidateds - which will be released next week - to, once again, be over 7million.

"Listen" - Consolidated Viewing Figures
The consolidated figures for "Listen" have been released and reveal a huge timeshift audience of over 2.2million - increasing the overnight figure from 4.8million to 7.01million. Another nail in the coffin of overnight figures perhaps.
2.2million is the highest timeshift audience for a normal episode (excluding series' openers/finales and specials). Pretty impressive.
Please note that this figure includes UK viewers who watched the episode in the first 7 days after transmission - it does not include those who watched it on iplayer via computers or tablets.
"Time Heist" - Overnight Viewing Figures
"Time Heist" achieved an overnight figure of 4.93million - slightly up on "Listen" which managed 4.8million - with a 23.8% share of the total audience.
"Time Heist" was the highest rated BBC programme and second overall behind "The X Factor".
It's going to be interesting to see what impact the later start time next week will have on the overnights and consolidateds.

Three Christmas Special Guest Stars Confirmed
The BBC have confirmed three guest stars for this year's Christmas Special:
Nick Frost - well known for starring in films with Simon Pegg such as "Shaun of the Dead", "Hot Fuzz" and "Paul".
Nathan McMullen - best known for his role as Finn Samson in Channel 4's "Misfits".
Michael Troughton - does he really need an introduction? Apart from the obvious connection, his most well known role was probably as Piers in "The New Statesman". He has, of course, starred in a number of Big Finish audios.
The BBC press release reads:
Production on 2014's Doctor Who Christmas episode has begun, with a host of British acting talent set to appear. The Christmas special, a cracker of a highlight in the festive season’s schedule, will air this Christmas on BBC One and promises to be an action-packed, unmissable adventure.
Nick Frost, actor and screenwriter, has starred in numerous hit film and television roles, including Spaced, The World’s End, Shaun Of The Dead, Hot Fuzz, Cuban Fury and Paul, which he also wrote.
Nick comments: “I'm so thrilled to have been asked to guest in the Doctor Who Christmas Special, I'm such a fan of the show. The read-through was very difficult for me; I wanted to keep stuffing my fingers into my ears and scream 'No spoilers!' Every day on set I’ve had to silence my internal fan-boy squeals!"
Michael Troughton (Breathless, The New Statesman), who has recently returned to acting, will follow in his father’s footsteps by appearing in Doctor Who. His father, Patrick Troughton, played the second incarnation of the Doctor.
They will be joined by Natalie Gumede (Coronation Street, Ideal, Strictly Come Dancing), Faye Marsay (Pride, The White Queen, Fresh Meat) and Nathan McMullen (Misfits, Casualty).
Steven Moffat, lead writer and executive producer, says: “Frost at Christmas - it just makes sense! I worked with Nick on the Tintin movie many years ago and it's a real pleasure to lure him back to television for a ride on the TARDIS.”
The Doctor Who Christmas Special will air on BBC One. Written by Steven Moffat and directed by Paul Wilmshurst (Strike Back, Combat Kids), it will be shot in Cardiff at BBC Wales Roath Lock Studios.

Matt Smith joins cast of "Pride, Prejudice and Zombies"
When it comes to Zombies, I know a number of us had a hankering for Matt Smith to guest in "The Walking Dead" but instead, according to the Hollywood Reporter, Matt will play Mr Collins in the adaptation of "Pride, Prejudice and Zombies". The cast includes Lily James, who will play the heroine, Liz Bennet.
If you've yet to read the novel then it's basically an alternative universe version of "Pride and Prejudice" where zombies roam about the countryside. The Bennet sisters receive weapons and martial arts training to become a fabulous zombie fighting army whilst their mother attempts to marry them off.
Looks like fun! Shooting begins on 24 September 2014.
